Lee Min Ho gets a warm welcome from 2,000 fans at Singapore airport


Lee Min Ho arrived in Singapore on December 16th to attend a promotional event for cosmetics brand Innisfree, for which he endorses. Over 2,000 fans were at the airport to give Lee Min Ho a warm welcome, and he immediately trended on the country’s Twitter as well as portal sites.

An official said, “It’s been 3 years since Lee Min Ho’s last visit to Singapore, but we never imagined that his popularity is still sky-high among fans. We are shocked yet thankful to everyone at the same time. We are really thankful to fans for all the love, but the most important thing here is safety. We won’t know what might happen, so we can’t be complacent at any point of time.”

After concluding his event in Singapore, Lee Min Ho will then fly off to China to film a commercial. He will also hold an encore performance of his global fan meeting tour ‘My Everything’ on January 18 of next year at Seoul’s Olympic Park Handball Stadium.

Following the end of his drama ‘The Heirs’ recently, Lee Min Ho will next join director Yoo Ha for his movie ‘Gangnam Blues’ which will start filming in spring 2014, for a release date in the 1st half of the year.
