Actor Lee Min Ho’s upcoming concert in Seoul will be broadcast live all around the world.

It has been revealed that the Seoul stop of Lee Min Ho’s 2014 Global Tour, which is scheduled for January 3, will be available at no cost for those who are unable to be there in person.

For fans who registered through the actor’s international fan site ‘MinozWorld.com’ on December 25, they are able to watch the entire concert through a YouTube live stream on January 3. Meanwhile, fans in China will be able to tune in through the portal site SOHU.

‘MinozWorld’ provides services in seven different languages, and it is said that immediately after registration opened earlier this month, the site crashed due to a server overload.

Chinese Year-End Program Splurges On Lighting for Lee Min Ho’s Stage, Spends Over 100M Won


The importance of good lighting in a stage production cannot be underestimated and this is something that the lighting director of the grand 2008 Beijing Olympics knows very well. Thus, at the year-end program of Chinese channel Dragon TV, the lighting director installed 100 million won (approximately USD91,000) worth of lighting to illuminate the stage and give ample lighting for the show’s special guest, actor Lee Min Ho.
On December 29, actor Lee Min Ho participated in the pre-recording for the year-end program of a China’s Dragon TV. As the program is a highly-anticipated show for the channel, the network invited popular Hallyu star Lee Min Ho to grace the event.

As the event is a very special one, Lee Min Ho prepared the Chinese song“Marry Me Today” which is originally sung by David Tao and Jolin Tsai. He sang it together with Taiwanese star Amber Kuo.

The performance is the highlight of the show so the production team spent a great amount on the stage design. The lighting director of the 2008 Beijing Olympics took over the lighting of the stage and installed lighting worth 100 million won (approximately USD91,000) to illuminate the stage and give Lee Min Ho a good lighting. There also was an orchestra that played on the stage to accompany Lee Min Ho’s performance.

The production team was impressed with how everything turned out, as Lee Min Ho gave a very good performance that the viewers will definitely enjoy.

Survey Reveals Lee Min Ho and Yoon Eun Hye as Favorite Actor and Actress for Japanese Women


Through a survey done with Japanese Hallyu fans, it was revealed that Japanese women picked Lee Min Ho as their favorite actor, and Yoon Eun Hye as their favorite actress. “Winter Sonata” was picked as their favorite drama, showing that the hype for the drama was still ongoing even after 12 years.
Moreover, Song Seung Hun and Kim Soo Hyun ranked after Lee Min Ho in ranking for actors while Ha Ji Won and Han Hyo Joo ranked after Yoon Eun Hye for actresses.

In the part in which Japanese women were asked about their favorite dramas, “Rooftop Prince,” “Princess Hours,” “Moon Embracing the Sun,” and “Secret Garden” came after “Winter Sonata” in the rankings.

This January 2015, film buffs will have to make the hard decision of which movie they’ll see first on the big screen: Lee Seung Gi’s “Love Forecast,” Lee Min Ho’s “Gangnam 1970,” or Lee Min Ki’s “Shoot Me in the Heart.”


“Love Forecast,” Lee Seung Gi’s comeback movie with “Brilliant Legacy” co-star Moon Chae Won, will get a bit of a headstart in the battle as it starts showing on January 15. The romantic comedy portrays the current dating culture and examines the difficulties of new relationships. In the film, Lee Seung Gi plays the role of Jun Su, a character who has been hurt by continuous unsuccessful relationships.


Lee Min Ho’s “Gangnam 1970″ will follow “Love Forecast” a week after and will hit the theaters on January 21. The film will follow the aspirations, loyalty, and betrayal of the main characters Kim Jong Dae (Lee Min Ho) and Baek Yong Gi (Kim Rae Won) with the background of Gangnam in the 1970s. Lee Min Ho portrays the role of Kim Jong Dae, a man who dreams only of living a comfortable life but becomes embroiled in a legal dispute over land development in Gangnam.





Finally, Lee Min Ki’s film “Shoot Me in the Heart,” which is a film adaptation of award-winning author Jung Yoo Jung’s best-selling novel of the same title, will make its premiere on January 28. The film features the story of two young men who escape from a mental hospital. Lee Min Ki plays the role of Seung Min, a young man who was forcibly admitted to the mental health institution without any cause.
This is the actor’s final project before he quietly enlisted in the army last August.

Lee Min Ho to sing duet with Taiwanese actress

Actor Lee Min-ho will sing a love song with Taiwanese actress Kuo Caijie, the Asian stars said in a press conference for a Chinese entertainment show in Shanghai on Monday.


Lee and Kuo will sing “Jintian Ni Yao Jiagei Wo (Marry Me Today)” on the New Year’s special “Kuainian Shengdian” on Dongfang Weixing TV, scheduled to be broadcast on Wednesday.
“I feel like today’s (rehearsal) is going to be very fun and exciting,” the Korean heartthrob said, referring to his first duet performance with a female singer.

This is the second time Lee and Guo will appear on the same show, following their appearance a year ago on the New Year special “Chunjie Wanhui” on Chinese television broadcaster CCTV.

Kuo, 28, is a Taiwanese Mandopop singer and actress who gained popularity among young Chinese after starring in the Chinese film series “Xiao Shihou (Tiny Times).” She is also known by her English name, Amber Kuo.

Former EXO member Luhan and former Super Junior member Hankyung will also appear on “Kuainian Shengdian.”

Lee Min Ho melts in the 1970's

Actor Lee Min-ho appears to have gone back to the 1970s in still cuts of his upcoming film “Gangnam 1970” revealed Monday.

The film’s distributor CJ Showbox released pictures of the main actors including Lee, Kim Rae-won, Jung Jin-young, AOA member Sulhyun and more.

The settings and fashion styles in the pictures capture the atmosphere of the 1970s in the Gangnam district.

In the photos, Lee shows off masculinity and charisma, seizing the fans’ hearts. Wearing a leather jacket and old-fashioned jeans, the actor is standing in front of a cigarette store, a common scene in the 1970s.

“The movie will captivate the viewers with its realistic depiction of 1970s’ fashion, scenery and every other small detail,” a spokesperson for the movie production team was quoted as saying


The upcoming noir film is about two men’s friendship, betrayal and lust for money and power in the Gangnam district in the 1970s, when the region had a real estate investment boom.

Lee plays the role of Jong-dae while Kim appears as Yong-ki. The two characters grow up together in an orphanage and get involved in the lives of gangsters.

The movie is slated to hit theaters on Jan. 21.
