AOA’s Seolhyun revealed that she became awkward with Lee Min Ho, who was close to her while filming the movie Gangnam 1970.

The recent shoot for KBS 2TV’s Happy Together gathered the celebrities who are addicted to a certain field, including the craft addict Ji Jin Hee, the pet addict Ku Hye Sun, the self management addict ZE:A’s Kwang Hee and the mokbang addict AOA’s Seolhyun.

On this day, AOA’s Seolhyun caught attention by sharing a story behind filming with Lee Min Ho for Gangnam 1970.

Seolhyun said, “I was really close to Min Ho oppa during filming. He took care of me well and he even brought a mosquito net so we waited together inside the net. But after filming ended, I met him again at the film screening and it was a bit awkward,” expressing her disappointment, which made everyone laugh.

Confessing that she is a mokbang addict despite her perfect body, Seolhyun said, “Dieting was difficult because I like eating so much. I almost quit trying to become a girl group member when I was a trainee because of diet.”

Then Seolhyun’s mokbang video caught everyone’s attention on the show.

The show is set to air on February 12.

Lee Min Ho’s Biggest Role Model Is “Gangnam 1970” Co-Star Kim Rae Won

From hit drama “Boys Over Flowers” to “City Hunter” to “Heirs, ” actor Lee Min Ho has had quite an impressive career.

Now, “Gangnam 1970,” in which the actor has his first-ever big screen lead role, has broken records at the box office as the first movie in 2015 to draw 2 million viewers. “Gangnam 1970” accomplished the feat within just 18 days of its release, showcasing Lee Min Ho’s clout as a top Hallyu star.

In an interview with News1, Lee Min Ho shared about why he waited until his late twenties to film a movie, “I received a flood of casting offers for movies after ‘Boys Over Flowers,’ but I always had the ambition to do [a movie] in my late 20s when I would be able to embody the weightiness [required] of the film genre.”Through “Gangnam 1970,” Lee Min Ho was able to star alongside actor Kim Rae Won, whom he has named as his biggest role model since his debut. He said, “Kim Rae Won hyung was in my first management agency. He was a sunbae who had this aura that made me happy just being able to see him. Even now, he’s a good hyung and sunbae to me. I think it is a great experience and privilege to be able to work with [Kim Rae Won] after all these years.”

The actor also addressed hearsay that the director of “Gangnam 1970,” renowned director Yoo Ha, is a perfectionist, “Director Yoo Ha? (Laughs). I heard that he is very detailed, but I never filmed a scene more than three times. I think it might also be because I prepared myself a lot mentally. [Director Yoo Ha] also cared for me a lot. I heard that this was one of the more easygoing [films] for [Director Yoo Ha].”

Meanwhile, “Gangnam 1970” was recently purchased by Chinese distributors at the highest price of any Korean film ever sold. The film, which is currently being edited for Chinese release, is set for a March premiere.

Lee Min Ho, Kim Soo Hyun deny astronomic fees

Kim Soo-hyun and Lee Min-ho on Tuesday denied Chinese media reports that they receive more than 800 million won ($734,000) for each appearance.

On Sunday, a Chinese news outlet reported that the two Korean actors receive about 850 million won for each appearance they make on television or at various events.

“(The company) has never disclosed (Kim’s fee) to the outside. The report is not based on (facts) verified by the company,” an official with Kim’s agency told Korean media.

Lee’s agency, Starhaus Entertainment, also denied the report, saying that related issue had never been disclosed to a Chinese news organization.

“There is no exact standard for fees. Not only does Lee not appear at many events, but (Lee’s) schedule has never been set based on the payment,” a Starhaus official was quoted as saying by a local news outlet.

“It is true that unimaginably (high) fees are offered, but offers are accepted based on the quality of a particular event.”

Lee Min Ho Talks About His Favorite Song + Fans from Different Countries

Actor Lee Min Ho recently took part in an interview for fashion magazine The Star, and discussed various topics, from his global tour, to his favorite song, as well as the differences amongst fans from all over the world.

When asked to share his thoughts on wrapping up his global tour, the actor expressed, “The global tour is a project I’ve continued to do. I sang a total of 12 songs on stage [for the tour]. If it was me in the past, that’s something I could never have imagined doing. Going on stage and being together with fans is a happy memory.” He also chose “Song for You (I’ll Sing)” from his latest album as the most memorable song, as it is a song just for his fans.
In response to the question of his favorite song to sing when he’s not on stage, Lee Min Ho shared, “’That I Once Lived by Your Side’ [by Toy (Kim Yeon Woo)]. The lyrics are relatable and it’s a song that I’ve liked since a long time ago.”

The interviewer also asked if there are differences amongst his fans from countries all over the world: “When I went overseas for ‘Boys Over Flowers’ in 2009, I felt each country’s distinct character. Now, I don’t feel a big difference. Now, I think I’m able to experience a special feeling when I see the fans’ expressions or eyes, which goes beyond language. I feel an overwhelming sense of emotion whenever that happens.”

Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho successfully wrapped up his global tour “RE:MINHO” last month.
