JYP Entertainment’s Stock Values Take a Dip after Suzy and Lee Min Ho Go Public

With girl group miss A‘s Suzy and actor Lee Min Ho going public with their relationship, Suzy’s management company JYP Entertainment‘s stock values seem to be suffering.

Just two hours after entertainment news outlet Dispatch reported that Lee Min Ho and Suzy were dating on March 23, the JYP Entertainment’s shares were sold for 4,800 KRW, which is 3.03 percent lower than what it had been sold for the day before. However, it seems the stock is making a recovery, as it is back on the rise since its initial drop today. As of 12:52 p.m. KST, the value stands at 4,855 KRW.

Meanwhile, actor Lee Min Ho and miss A’s Suzy have confirmed their relationship. On March 23, Lee Min Ho’s management company Starhaus Entertainment said, “The two have been meeting for about one month now, and are carefully continuing their relationship” while JYP entertainment echoed, “They are indeed in a relationship. They have been dating carefully for about a month.”

Lee Min Ho and miss A Suzy Are Dating; Both Agencies Confirm

An exclusive report by Dispatch was recently released, stating that miss ASuzy and Lee Min Ho are allegedly dating, having witnessed and captured the two together in London.

According to the report, both stars left for Europe on March 10, although they had different destinations: Lee Min Ho for an All Saints photo shoot in Paris, and Suzy for a Dior shoot in London.

Later, around March 15, after the two wrapped up their scheduled activities, they met up at Waldorf Hotel, and attempted to travel discreetly, both leaving their car at intervals.

According to Dispatch, the two stars’ date pattern was similar to that the news outlet witnessed last month in Seoul, where the news outlet witnessed the two on a date at Namsan. Since then, the report states, the two met just about every day, and have been dating for two months already.

Meanwhile, Suzy’s agency JYP Entertainment stated in response to the dating reports that they just heard the news through the Dispatch article, and that upon confirmation, they will be releasing an official statement. There is no word yet from Lee Min Ho’s agency, Starhaus.

Lee Min Ho Takes on Tough Role in Latest Film

Herds of young moviegoers are rushing to the theaters to see heartthrob Lee Min-ho who appears in the gangster film, "Gangnam Blues".

While Lee became popular after a series of hit TV shows, he was hardly seen on the silver screen after he played a small part in a comedy film in 2008.

Lee owes his popularity to "nice-guy" roles, but this time he challenged himself with the part of a tough guy who gets caught up in organized crime.

"I wanted to do a film in my late twenties, and I think it was a good decision to wait until I met this film", Lee said. "I didn't feel I was forcing myself to fit certain characters but I wanted to spend time finding suitable roles that I naturally agree with. In doing so, I got a chance to star in the film, and I was personally satisfied with it".

The film portrays poverty and sufferings in the 1970s when the modernization drive began. "I'm so thankful that I was not born in the hard times of the past. It is true that modern life has become tough for a lot of young people in their twenties right now, but there are still more opportunities than in the 1970s", he said. "I hope moviegoers realize how lucky they are and live their life more fully after watching the film".

The film is set in the 1970s, when a real estate development boom swept across Gangnam and depicts the collusion between local politicians and gangsters at the time.
